Our Growing Team

On behalf of the board of directors of Project Lab St. Louis, I’m delighted to share that Valaree Logan will be joining our team as lead gardener and school liaison for the Permaculture Project of Metropolitan St. Louis. Co-founder of Odds & Ends Farm, which comprises three acres under cultivation here in metro St. Louis, Val also holds a masters degree in school psychology and shares Project Lab St. Louis’ commitment to equity and social justice. “We began our journey in farming after the birth of our daughter,” Val writes. “She ignited our dream of owning a family farm, one that would help her understand the benefits of knowing what we eat and how it nourishes our bodies and souls. Additionally, we teach organic growing techniques to community volunteers who come and support us. We believe in transparent farming practices and being open and honest about all inputs used on our farm.” Welcome, Val! We're so thrilled to share this journey with you!
