Living Questions 2025

We’re about to launch a second iteration of our 2019 humanities project, Living Questions. (See our blog from April 28, 2019 for a bit of background on the idea of a student-centered community conversation.) This time, in partnership with 9th graders at McCluer High School in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, we’re taking up George Orwell’s 1946 political allegory, Animal Farm. I’ll have more to report on this experience after next week. For now, I’ll just say that I’m very grateful to the collaborating administrators and classroom teacher who are making it possible for us to think, read, talk, and write together. —Inda
